Assertive people are distinguished by self-awareness, confidence and precise communication abilities. Attending this course will provide you with strategies and tools to achieve assertive responses and express your thoughts and opinions with assurance via assertive communication and behaviours.

Expected Outcomes

  • Differentiate between styles of communication.
  • Learn to apply a range of practical assertiveness techniques.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of what part self-esteem plays in assertion and assertive communication.
  • Recognise when assertive behaviour is appropriate.

  • Investigage your current beliefs and review the principles of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) to adopt new beliefs.
